Innopak have a worldwide network of associates/agencies that can be called upon for a variety of services.

At times this network is simply used to discuss packing problems and solutions, sometimes for technical assistance and at other times for quotations for equipment or services.

This network includes customers who are willing to allow site visits and offer advice as well as large multinational manufacturers and smaller entrepreneurial companies that can offer leading edge solutions and lateral thinking.

The chart below outlines the network that is available to us and our customers.

In many cases these alliances have been in place for decades and a strong bond of trust and mutual respect has developed.

The Innopak Network – Associations and Alliances.

The types of companies Innopak are associated with fall into 5 categories, generally per the chart above.

These categories are:

Equipment manufacturers and designers. In some cases one company carries out both functions, in others they are individual specialists.

Packaging materials suppliers. These are generally large multinational companies who supply packaging. In most cases they have paper mills and other base material facilities within their group. Extensive technical resources are available for research and testing.

These companies can be manufacturers/ suppliers of plastic film or containers, multi-ply bags, cartons, boxes and the like.
Advisors. Having been involved in the packing industry for over 35 years, many specialists have crossed our path. Some of these people were in their own businesses as consultants, some were suppliers of equipment to us, while others were employed by our customers operating manufacturing plants. These people have vast experience. Innopak is in regular contact with these people and they often act as advisors to us. They provide a very useful ‘sounding board’ of ideas and through their input, many pitfalls can be avoided.

Customers. Innopak’s customers form a strong part of our network. Provided there is no conflict of interest or competitive disadvantage, our customers are willing to assist by providing information on performance of plant, suggestions for areas of improvement and by allowing plant visits to view equipment in operation.

Specialist engineers. Our network also incorporates specialist engineers. These take the form of process engineers, automation engineers, mechanical design engineers and manufacturing engineers. Their combined input is often critical for a successful project, in time and within budget.

The Innopak Network – Areas of Operation.

Innopak primarily operates in the powder/granule product groups.

More recent developments are leading us into small liquid packing too.

While these are usually food type products, we also have experience with chemicals and other materials such as china clay, fertilizer etc.

Innopak has also been involved in other aspects of materials handling and packing, such as fruit sorting/packing, quality control in the aqua culture industry, fruit processing and blending operations, spare parts packing, can handling and generally where ever a problem needs resolving that requires our team’s skills, knowledge and lateral thinking.
